Addie Camsuzou is a composer and violinist from the central coast of California. She graduated magna cum laude from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theory/Composition; while there, she studied music composition with Dr. Stephen Blumberg, and violin with Ian Swensen and Anna Presler. While studying at Sacramento State University, Camsuzou received several awards and honors. In 2014, she was awarded Honorable Mention in the FeNAM Student Composers Competition and received the Camerata Capistrano Scholarship. In 2015, she was awarded Best Arrangement in the CSUS School of Music Scoring and Arranging Competition and Best Composition in the FeNAM Student Composer Competition. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in music composition at University of California, Davis.
